Description
If you ever need to charge a single Li-ion battery cell, this is the type of charger you’ll need. It charges to 4.2V, which is the full voltage level of a single Li-ion battery cell. This battery charger is appropriate for any standard lithium-ion battery – not LiFePO4 batteries.
This battery charger will charge to a full voltage of 4.2 Volts at a charge rate of 1 Amp.
Possible uses can be recharging single cells, increasing the charge of a low cell within a pack during manual balancing, etc.
The charger comes with alligator clip connectors to give you a wide range of connecting options. If you need to charge a single bare 18650 cell, it can be useful to attach some type of nickel strip or other terminal to the end of the cell to attach the alligator clips. This can be done with magnets, rubber bands or other temporary fixtures.
Note: When the charger is plugged into the wall, avoid touching the bare ends of the alligator clips together.
The charger can accept anywhere from 110V to 240V AC, so you can even take it traveling internationally.
Charger instructions: Simply plug the charger into the wall. You will see the light turn green. Now plug the other end of the charger into your battery. You will see the light turn red, indicating charging. When the light turns green again, your battery is finished charging! It is good practice if you unplug the charger from both the battery and the wall when you’ve finished charging.
