I purchased the 4S BMS and the matching charger from you guys. The product description says 16.8V is the charging voltage. Is that the top end voltage that the unit can handle? I've got an input source that can do 20v at peak and I'm wondering if it would be safe to use with that unit or if it would overload it?

No, you shouldn't provide the BMS with voltage higher than 16.8V. A 4s Li-ion BMS requires a CC-CV 16.8V input.
