So I've done some research and I believe I've got the pack I want to build. I found some inexpensive batteries at IMR batteries wholesale. Specifically Samsung 20R 18650 2000mAh 22A for $3.15 a piece. So if my calculations are correct I'm looking at a 13s5p build which will give me 48v  and 10 amp hours. I've been searching for battery enclosures and having a hard time finding something that I can mount to my bike. Either a bottle case or something I could secure to a rear wheel rack is what I was thinking. I've heard of people just shrink-wrapping it and carrying it in a backpack but I'd like something a little more "fixed" if possible. Any ideas?

I'm in the process of planning my ebike conversion and, like you, I'm leaning towards a bike rack installation and this is what I'm thinking of https://www.grainger.com/product/417Y44?cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!50916716157!!!g!341187509649!&ef_id=W2ixmQAAAH7IjG58:20180806203745:s

I hope that helps.

I purchased the Grainger box, but found it to be too big for what i wanted for my 48v. Recently I purchased this ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/STANLEY-STST16331-16-Inch-Essential-Tool-Box/52550777) which I plan on trying. Ideally I'd like something even smaller and will respond in time if I find anything better.
