Bulk charger like the one listed on this site?

Or

Balance charging?

I've found balance charging of 52V packs to be annoying because you can't evenly divide the pack into same-sized modules. You'd have to break it apart into something like 6s, 6s, and 2s packs or 5s, 5s, and 4s packs, etc, unlike a 36V battery that could be balance charged as two 6s packs in parallel (while remember to break the center connection between the packs before paralleling them, of course).

Agreed 36v would be simple 10s using something like icharger 1010B+ that has 10 balance ports.  52v needs to be split 14/2 with a reasonable priced parallel board.  Just wondered how/if you have done it.  Need to find more details on balance chargers and use of parallel charging.  My intent is to primarily do bulk charging and only do balance on initial setup and when it's needed.  And when doing bulk charging keeping cell voltage close to 4.1v for safety and longevity. Ordered 2 vruzend kits this AM.

Only asked this question because I want to know what others are doing.  Don't like to veer to far from the beaten path

You can split in two and use a balance board like you said, but it's important that you electrically break the connection between the two halves of the pack if you are paralleling them and not charging them separately. You can make that series connection between the two halves with wires instead of busbars. Then either use a high current rated switch (or a few in parallel) on the wires, or install electrical connectors that you can unplug.

If you leave the pack as one electrical 'block' when you parallel the two halves, you'll short the battery and thus smoke your charger or worse.

Reading and learning, its seems using a bms, leaves it up to it to decide when your battery's all give up quicker do to 1 battery or 2, so finding and a efficient way like a 4 split to be able to quickly establish the bad battery is best without a bms Is best, you should make a video on that please, using something other then a bms, a screen set up showing each battery voltage and wont over charge, trickle what not, with what best components, just saying.
